The expansion valve division of a major manufacturer requested a 180-stop rotary indexing system. The base indexes every five (5) seconds & utilizes an eight (8) foot diameter aluminum dial plate.

We designed & manufactured a 180-stop rotary indexing system for our customer where the base indexes every five (5) seconds & utilizes an eight (8) foot diameter aluminum dial plate.

Special considerations included:

• The transporting device had to be able to hold 150 to 180 pieces at a time.
• Design of the indexer must allow the automatic loading of the parts.
• The carriage of the machine could not be influenced by the heat of the oven.
